Texas Proud
The Texian Independence Project is the brain child of musician and songwriter, Leon Waddy. A self-proclaimed "Texas history nerd", Waddy wanted to create music that was pure Texas and shared the rich history of the state. To that end, he called on a small army of talented musicians from the New Braunfels area. Produced by Matthew Briggs and Zack Walther, this project has evolved into something greater than Waddy ever imagined. These are not just songs about Texas - they are songs that represent Texas and the grit of the heroes who made it free.
